This Affiliate Disclosure explains, in keeping with the guidance of the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and equivalent consumer-protection rules elsewhere, how and when Cubed News (cubednews.com) uses affiliate links. We believe readers deserve to know when a link could earn us a commission, stated clearly and up front.

An affiliate link is a link to a product or service that may pay us a small commission if you click through and make a purchase. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link; the commission comes from the retailer, not from you. Where and How We Disclose

If you buy something through them, Cubed News may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.”

How We Keep It Honest

Our editorial independence comes first, and a few firm rules protect it:

  • Recommendations are editorial, not bought. We include a product only when our writers genuinely think it is worth a reader’s attention. A potential commission never determines what we recommend or how we describe it.
  • Limited use. We use affiliate links sparingly and in a narrow set of contexts — for example, linking to a book we discuss or recommend. We are a news publication, not a deals site, and our pages will never be packed with affiliate offers.
  • No pay-for-praise. We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive write-up, and an affiliate relationship does not buy favourable treatment in our coverage.
  • No prohibited categories. We do not run affiliate links for gambling, betting, crypto-scam schemes, or other categories incompatible with a trustworthy publication.

Your Choice

Using our affiliate links is entirely optional. If you would rather not, you can search for the same product directly or buy it however you prefer — it makes no difference to the price you pay, and no difference to the content you read. The links are a convenience and a small means of support, nothing more.

Accuracy of Product Information

Prices, availability, and product details change, and they are set by the retailer, not by us. We cannot guarantee that information about a linked product is current at the moment you view it, and we are not responsible for the third-party site, its terms, or your transaction with it. Please confirm the details on the retailer’s own page before buying.
